Marshmallow Biscuits



  • Beat butter and sugar to a cream.


  • Blend in flour, cream of tartar and soda and drop in the eggs and Mix.


  • Rolling out thinly and cut with cookie cutter. Bake until pale brown in mod.oven.


  • MARSHMALLOW TOPPING 1 oz of gelatin, 2 cups of water and 2 cups of sugar.


  • Put the gelatin in 1 cup of cold water and bear for 10 mins. Then add the balance of the water and sugar. Boil gently for 1/2 hour. After boiling set aside to cool. When cold pound until mixture becomes like a snowball.



  • Put some on each biscuit then ice with chocolate icing or sprinkle with coconut. Makes 50-60 biscuits.




Things You'll Need :

•4 ounces butter
•2 eggs
•1 cup sugar
•2 cups flour
•1 tsp cream of tartar
•1/2 tsp baking soda
